Stormworks: Build and Rescue has the player building sea-rescue vehicles and completing missions using them. Unfortunately, only half of that formula is fun.
The actual building of the vehicles is fine, perhaps the game’s greatest strength. However, the missions are awful, killing any sort of interest I had in the game within the first thirty minutes. The vast majority of the missions are simple fetch quests or something similar. Deliver this box to this location, transport these people to this location, etc. Considering how big the maps can be, this grew to be incredibly boring. I had the most fun playing around with the custom vehicles, as the physics for them are actually great.
The game is in Early Access however, so this aspect of the game will likely improve over time. However, as it stands now, the game is simply not fun outside of the vehicle creation and a couple of the mission types. Would definitely wait for further updates before considering this game.
