TowerFall Ascension is a great multiplayer game, reminiscent of Super Smash Bro’s local play component.

That said, I didn’t have such a good time soloing the game. It simply wasn’t enjoyable without anyone else to play with. The fact that there’s no online component makes it even more difficult to enjoy. Thankfully, I have a few people that are actually able to play the game with me (being local-only and all). The graphics are simple, as is the music, but it’s a blast to play with friends regardless.

If you’re going solo, then don’t bother with TowerFall Ascension. It’s only worth it for the multiplayer component, far more enjoyable than being all alone. :(
