Want a game where you have no idea what’s going on at any given moment? Try “//N.P.P.D. RUSH//- The milk of Ultraviolet”. Quite the title we got there.

I honestly had no idea what I was doing, what I was supposed to be doing, or what anything else was doing. The game is very, very fast paced, bullets flying everywhere. I really don’t know what to compare this game to, there’s just nothing that I’ve played quite like this before, and that’s a good thing. However, the fact that this is a game with a complete lack of direction completely ruins the experience for me. I spent more time than I should have trying to figure out what I was doing, who I was shooting, etc.

The game’s music and graphics, however, were very, very good. You could even enable scanlines. Retro anyone? Overall, I can’t say that this game is for anyone. It certainly has a very specific audience, myself not included. If you’re into the retro, shoot everything you see, while still having know idea what’s going on audience, then you’re good to go.
